Novatech Organic Growth
The Problem
Novatech Solutions sells software to mid-sized manufacturing companies, and its organic presence did not match its ambitions. Rankings for the terms its buyers search were mostly on the third page, the site's service pages were short descriptions with stock imagery, and nothing new had been published in over a year. A sales team that relied on outbound calls had no inbound pipeline to work.
The Solution
We ran a nine-month SEO engagement in three phases. Phase one was technical: a full crawl and audit found 214 crawl errors, a sitemap that excluded most pages, slow load times on the key service pages, and no structured data beyond the basics. Phase two was content: we researched the terms that matter in the manufacturing software market, rewrote the existing service pages from thin paragraphs into substantive ones, and published two genuinely useful guides per month — written by people who know the product, not outsourced filler. Phase three was authority: outreach to industry publications and relevant directories earned links from sources that actually get visited.
Technologies Used
Full crawl and technical audit, rebuilt sitemap, schema for the company's services and reviews, image and script optimization — with monthly reporting covering 60 tracked keywords, organic sessions, and attributed leads.
Business Impact
By month nine, the site ranked on the first page for 38 of the 60 tracked keywords — including six in the top three — and organic traffic had grown 156 percent. Inbound leads from organic now account for a quarter of the sales team's pipeline, and the content calendar the engagement established is still running, because the company finally sees what it produces. The engagement has continued past month nine in a lighter form: monthly reporting and quarterly content sprints. The company also adopted the editorial process for its sales material, because the same research that wins rankings improves how they talk about their product. Organic leads are now a standing line item in their pipeline review.
